Changelog
CURRENT 1.1.0 · LIVE ON THE APP STORE · 2026.08.31 · iOS 18+
Everything that changed in Track Settings after 0.5.0 (build 68). 1.1.0 is live on the App Store.
GPS timing update
Added
External GPS lap timing (Track Settings Pro): Dragy DRG70 / DRG70 Pro over Bluetooth, with a compact status line, signal-loss alerts, and no silent fallback to the iPhone mid-session.
RaceBox Mini / Mini S / Micro as a second external GPS module.
Live GPS recording screen: speed (km/h or mph), lap delta, track overlay, driven path in the live delta colour, this-run best flash, and a glanceable armed dash.
Per-lap GPS telemetry stored with each timed lap.
In-app Help & Guide from Settings, plus Learn more links on setup sections.
In-app feedback from Settings, delivered by email.
Damper manufacturer / product catalog instead of the hardcoded AST / Moton / KW / OEM list.
Car rename after creation.
Cached track maps so session outlines load faster.
Faster circuit list (lite catalog + fetch-by-id).
Car and circuit identity shown together on session and garage screens.
Changed
Starting cold pressure is calculated from the hot target (Gay-Lussac) instead of a stored delta; apply it to the car from the setup screen.
Setup tire type is the single source of truth (list and editor no longer disagree).
Sway-bar hardware is configured only on the car; setup cards show sway-bar state and damper hardware.
Circuits load from the API only — no bundled fallback file.
Confirmation / verification email uses the SVG logo and a redesigned template.
Fixed
Splash hang after refresh tokens expire or a restored session is loaded. This is why 0.5.0 (68) could sit on the loading screen indefinitely; 1.1.0 recovers with Keychain credentials.
RaceBox device matching; live GPS marker snaps onto the track outline.
Auth sheets (sign-in / account) cannot be swipe-dismissed.
Mark Start/Finish no longer accepts a garbage course when the car is stationary.
iPad, Pro & Ask an Engineer
Landed after the 0.5.0 marketing bump and before or during App Store review.
Added
iPad (all orientations) with landscape / iPad comparison tables.
Ask an Engineer with retrieval over the suspension guide and car-specific setup docs.
Track Settings Pro yearly subscription; Professional features and Ask an Engineer are gated.
Session comparison and an interactive lap-time graph with setup-change overlays.
Car make / model / engine from the shared catalog.
Per-corner scale weights, cold vs warm tire pressure, and per-axle tire size drop-downs.
Toe display in degrees or length.
Tread temperatures, save session setup back to car defaults.
Clone session setup into a new session.
Top-down suspension schematic with tread heat map.
Split-screen rules by device and orientation.
Car profile photo.
Local weather condition captured onto the session.
Schematic track outlines on the session screen.
~70 additional circuits, including Circuit de la Sarthe.
Circuits served with start/finish GPS from the app API.
Delete track data / refreshed sample-data generator.
Changed
Skill levels renamed Enthusiast / Professional.
Enthusiast gets all tire features and the full schematic; springs, geometry, sway bars, and weight stay Professional.
Engineer chat receives your unit preferences.
Subview navigation (engineer / laps / schematic).
Each lap stores setup and conditions.
Fixed
Subscription disclosure and WeatherKit attribution; cancelled subscriptions show access-until.
Abandoned sign-up verification recovery.
Lap times disappearing when editing a session.
Home logo placement over a custom background.
Numeric fields clear on focus / format on blur; numpad dismisses on outside tap.
Email fields no longer auto-capitalize.
Alerts when tapping info and warning icons.
Multi-config track outlines recovered.
Baseline
Cloud accounts without sign-up, car and session setup logging, weather on the session, auto-save, theme and units. The first public release.
